In 2012, beloved English kitchen model deVOL remodeled a Sixteenth-century water mill into their headquarters. The historic, five-story constructing, which is positioned on the banks of the River Soar in rural Leicestershire, homes each company places of work and elaborate showrooms. Whereas updates have been made to accommodate the corporate, unique parts like heavy beams, mullioned home windows, creaky floorboards, and wobbly partitions stay.

That cozy residential vibe is very evident within the Heirloom Assortment Kitchen, the most recent showroom at Cotes Mill. With a burgundy and blush shade scheme and old-world particulars like an outsized plate rack and linen cabinet curtains, the cook dinner house oozes countryside allure. The one factor lacking is a candy grandmother chopping greens on the European oak and Carrara marble dairy desk. Let’s take a better look.
