Is Isabella Rossellini the last word earth mom? In 2013 she based Mama Farm in Brookhaven, NY, a regenerative farm “that focuses on heritage breeds and heirloom seeds. Our mission is to advertise conservation and biodiversity by means of our choices and programming,” as she says.
Her newest endeavor: Ponchos, blankets, and carpets made with wool from Mama Farm’s heritage breed sheep in collaboration with textile artist Mimi Prober.
