A floor ground condo within the central Marais was in want of an replace, with performance in thoughts. The shoppers, a pair working in trend and graphic design with two kids, have been searching for a spacious kitchen to accommodate every day household life. They enlisted Paris-based Iranian architect Saba Ghorbanalinejad to tackle the renovation of the 140-square-meter condo. The kitchen extension sits at a peak decrease than the encompassing condo. “This alternative was purely contextual,” explains Ghorbanalinejad. “The patio already existed and once we designed the extension, it made sense to put the kitchen there which naturally resulted in a barely decrease degree.”
Extending from the historic structure, the white metal construction is designed with skylights and home windows between worlds.
