Hoping for a bit of recommendation right here. I’m planning on constructing my first workbench. Whereas I like the Festool MFT, it’s simply not giant or sturdy sufficient for me. My plan is as a substitute to start out with a “conventional” workbench able to dealing with hand work, and add some MFT features together with 20mm gap grid on the highest and rail hinge supported by extruded T-slot rails back and front.
I’ve positioned a lot of the mandatory parts (UJK Parf system, Dashboard Rail Information, McMaster 1530 rail, and so on) however I’m simply left with determining what bench design to base this all off of. I’m mild on talent and I don’t need to spend an excessive amount of time or cash on constructing the bench as I haven’t but had an opportunity to be taught what truly works for me when it comes to bench design.
