Images by way of Resort Wren, besides the place famous.
Above: Situated 10 minutes from the north entrance to Joshua Tree, Resort Wren started as a basic roadside motor lodge. It’s been redesigned for contemporary desert stays by LA-based Manola Studio, helmed by Jessica Pell. “Wren is each a love letter to the desert and a quiet expression of the studio’s values,” based on the studio, “formed by story and intention, impressed by nature and nuance. Intuitive, grounded, and attuned to position, Wren invitations company into a delicate dialogue between self and area.”Above: This eating room, and the residing space above, are literally in The Wren Home, a separate midcentury home “perched on the northwestern fringe of the Resort Wren property, overlooking the open desert and the Pinto Mountains,” accessible for stays.Above: A classic combine in Wren Home.
