In our newest e-book, Remodelista: The Low-Influence House, we profile the one-room cabin of architect couple Bretaigne Walliser and Thom Dalmas of TBo (for Thom-Bretaigne) workplace. The couple constructed the cabin themselves in a mountain meadow within the Catskills from a post-and-beam package. The cabin body is constructed from hemlock, an area wooden, with white pine board-and-batten siding. The ground is tongue-and-groove white pine. The cabin is galvanized however with out operating water.
