What makes an ideal rest room? In my thoughts, it appears to be like like this one, within the former LA dwelling of designer Pamela Shamshiri. (The home offered to new homeowners a number of summers in the past.) Spa-like however cozy, easy however subtle, it’s anchored by a hinoki soaking tub for lengthy, enjoyable baths.

I’m not alone in admiring this area: It seems in Barbara Sallick’s e book The Good Bathtub, and, because it seems, was Pamela’s favourite room of her Rudolph Schindler-designed home. “It’s my sanctuary…It’s not authentic in any manner, however I believe Schindler would approve of the design,” she stated in an interview with Rip & Tan. “It’s the place I get well and recharge.”
