Some time again, I wrote about Maria Le Mesurier’s minimalist residence in West Sussex, UK. Regardless of a raucous household life with 5 youngsters ranging in age from 4 to 18, the designer and her furnishings maker husband, Paul, have been capable of create (and preserve) a peaceful, neutral-toned, palette-cleansing residence. (See A Design Couple’s Baby-Pleasant, Muddle-Free Dwelling.) Their vacation decorations are equally minimalist, naturalistic, and refreshing.
“Aside from the Christmas timber and lights, I by no means ever purchase decorations as I don’t see the purpose, after I can discover all the things I would like on the bottom within the woods,” says Maria.
Beneath, Maria walks us by means of how she decorates each room of their residence for the vacation season with foliage, most of it discovered (and free!) on her property.
