
We not too long ago spotlighted inside designer Suzanne Pardijs’s collaboration together with her grasp carpenter husband, Michael Kaashoek. The makeover of their kitchen close to Utrecht within the Netherlands took place after Suzanne suffered a fall whereas lugging a chair to her upstairs studio. The months she spent at residence therapeutic led her to rethink their residing quarters—see A New Setup for Cooking, Crafting, and Gathering.
The right remaining element? Michael reworked a shed hooked up to the again of their home into a brand new workplace for Suzanne. That’s it proper off the kitchen. We’re revisiting the venture to take a more in-depth take a look at Suzanne’s compact work setup and its many standout particulars.
